On: 2010-07-12 Fit is extremely comfortable and reflected sun and heat extremely well while on the lake for four solid days...not a hint of burn. I may just buy another. Great swim shirt! On: 2010-07-11 Im 46 years old and this was my first swim shirt. I purchased it to wear during a 5 week swim class. The shirt was great! I didnt even think about having a shirt on while in the water. There are only two things that prevented me from giving it 5 stars. The 1st is that it runs a size small. Im a big guy and normally wear a 3XL shirt, and this shirt was snug...although it didnt bother me once I was in the water. Also I have noticed it starting to fade from the chest down. This is because of all the standing in 4-5 ft. pool water (chlorine). I guess this is to be expected and would still recommend this shirt. Just remember...order 1 size up and you should be fine. Rash tees On: 2010-07-10 Nice quality rash tees, can be worn as a casual shirt!!!!! I love this rash tee, order one or two sizes bigger for a looser casual look. Fitment chart is INCORRECT! On: 2010-04-15 OK, so some people say to order one size up, thats BS. You need to order more like 2-3 sizes up. The material says it takes a short time to dry, which is a lie. Im in Hawaii right now, went snorkeling with it on yesterday, and guess what, its still wet. If I was you Id look at the Quiksilver Perfecta series. They fit much better and dry quicker. Pass on this junk! awesome fit! On: 2010-04-09 I got one for me and my husband. We each ordered a size up. Im 53 and the arms on the Large goes to my elbow and looks great. My husband got one size up and it really does fit like a tee. Its a MUST have for the beach! Its bad enough dealing with sunburn on your legs, forearms, face and head.. so im glad i dont have to worry about the rest! Its nice how it covers part of the neck too. We just got back from the Caribbean and after ONE day we were burnt even after using SPF 70, were average-fair skin toned but yikes that sun will get you! Im so glad we had these shirts! Awesome fit! Great shirt but sizing is off. On: 2010-02-20 Thankfully I ordered two sizes larger than what I normally wear. The shirt itself is great. It feels fantastic and can be worn as a normal tee or an undershirt. Quick drying and is awesome to wear while swimming. Outstanding On: 2010-02-01 Ive been looking for a rash guard for water sports for years. The ones at the local stores are either extremely expensive, or low quality. I took a gamble on the ONeill based on their reputation, and it was a hit. Love the shirts. Well made shirt, has the features we were looking for. On: 2009-12-12 We bought this shirt a size larger then one would normally wear as others suggested, by doing just this, it is a perfect fit for my husband, suggest others to do the same if they are not looking for the snug fit look! Size Runs Small On: 2009-10-07 Great review below, but I have to disagree regarding the correct size to order. It is not a true size to fit, it runs small. I read this and the review "not so loose fitting" two reviews below. I would recommend to order one size larger. I ordered an XL for my husband, since he buys XL t-shirts and they tend to be "roomy" and loose on him. This XL rash guard was too tight, so the size was actually smaller than an average XL t-shirt. Amazon refunded the purchase which was nice, but it still was disappointing to have to re-order it one size larger. Its a great product and I hope you enjoy it :) Perfect sun/water shirt On: 2009-09-01 We bought this for my father-in-law and he loves it! It is perfect for him. They just put in a pool and he needs to keep the sun off of him as much as possible. He likes it because it is looser fitting than a traditional rash guard and doesnt cling like a t-shirt would. He normally wears a XL t-shirt, so we got him an XL and it fits perfectly. I just ordered another one for my dad. Great top, but order a size up On: 2009-08-11 This shirt was fabulous to take on a sunny vacation. Light weight and lives up to it SPF rating. Wore it 4 days in a row, and it never showed any wear. Be sure to order up a size however, unless you want it SKIN TIGHT. I ordered up one size and it fit like a slim cut T shirt. If it were any bigger, it would have be awkward to wear in the water. It also dries very quickly in the water. WONDERFUL PURCHASE!! Too snug On: 2009-08-08 If you want a close fit, this is it. Generally wear XL. but this was form fitting and not what I wanted. Returned for a refund.
